The camping site is 10 acres large, and offers the opportunity to camp with plenty of room between tents and no one blocking your view to the front. We have 10 on-site parking spaces. Please be aware that there is no car access at all after 7pm. We have five spacious pitches suitable for groups of up to six with prices starting from just £40 per night. We also have two and four person tents for hire; please enquire as to availability.
Wayfaring Farm welcomes car-free walkers and cyclists and is well located for stopping off whilst walking the South Downs Way, or for hiking, cycling and mountain biking in the local area (but please book in advance to avoid disappointment!)
Sorry but dogs cannot be permitted on site due to grazing sheep.
The top part of the land has 6 terraces, including The Snug, Hawthorn, Crows’ Perch and Rosehip. These allow flat camping with great views. We try to accommodate requests for the specific pitches illustrated below, as bookings allow.
At the top of the land there is a more wooded area called Badgers Corner where there is room for two medium tents.
At the bottom of the land there is a flat area prioritised for backpacker bookings. A footpath on the other side of the boundary fence goes down the side of the Glen which beautiful, and is a very unusual landscape feature to find in chalk down land. Due to its closer proximity to the C40 there is more road noise down here during the day, but very little after 7pm.
